Radar Level Sensor VC11

VC11 is a non-contact radar sensor for continuous level measurement in applications requiring a high degree of protection. Its PVDF housing is optimised for water/wastewater use, and a moulded cable gland ensures IP66/IP68 (3 bar) protection. Maintenance-free 80 GHz radar technology delivers precise results regardless of medium, process, or ambient conditions.

How it works

The antenna emits a continuous radar signal. The product surface reflects the signal as an echo; the frequency difference between transmitted and received signals is proportional to distance and thus to the fill level. The calculated level is converted to a corresponding output signal.
