Radar Sensor VP6X
The VP6X radar sensor is a universal solution for continuous level measurement of liquids and bulk solids under all process conditions. With application-oriented configuration and commissioning, it provides a safe, economical, and maintenance-free measurement method – regardless of whether the medium is liquid or solid.
How it works
The sensor emits radar signals via its antenna. The reflected echo is received, and the frequency difference is used to calculate the fill level. This value is then converted into an output signal.
Housing & Protection
Available in single- or dual-chamber housings made of plastic, stainless steel, or aluminium. Protection classes up to IP68 (1 bar) and IP69K.

Applications
The VEGAPULS 6X is suitable for nearly all industries and media: liquids, solids, hot, cold, hazardous, or corrosive. Small process connections make it ideal for compact tanks, while strong signal focusing ensures reliable results even in tanks with agitators or heating coils.
It is also perfect for very tall silos, large bunkers, and segmented containers for bulk solids. The sensor comes with an encapsulated plastic antenna or a metal flange integrated lens antenna.
