Ultrasonic Level Sensor VS63

VS63 is a non-contact ultrasonic sensor for continuous level measurement of liquids and bulk solids. It’s ideal for bulk solids in small to medium containers. Because the method is independent of product properties, you can commission it even without medium.

How it works

The transducer emits short ultrasonic pulses (18–70 kHz) toward the product surface. The echo is received by the same transducer. The transit time between send and receive is proportional to the fill level.
