EMF come from everyday devices. To stay healthy, it's important to limit exposure by using simple steps to reduce EMF around you.

Here's how you can reduce your exposure:

  • Activate airplane mode on your mobile phone when not in use.
  • Use speakerphone or a secure hands-free with a cord when talking, avoiding direct placement against the ear.
  • Avoid having the phone in the bedroom overnight.
  • Use a landline with a cord when possible and turn off data traffic on your smartphone when not in use.
  • Consider replacing wireless technology like keyboards, computer mice, phones, and wifi with wired alternatives.
  • Put your computer in airplane mode and use an Ethernet cable for internet.
  • Avoid having your laptop on your lap and use an external keyboard and mouse, especially when connected to a power outlet.
  • Replace low-energy light bulbs, as they can generate strong EMF.
  • Avoid using a microwave.
  • Walk barefoot when weather permits and consider a grounding sheet for sleeping.
  • Avoid using hairdryers that can produce strong EMF.
  • Avoid electric beds, blankets, and heating pads.
  • Clear the bedroom of electric appliances and check for electrical wires in the walls, especially near where you sleep.
  • Cut power to the bedroom if the above measures are not possible or for extra safety. Consult an electrician for possible solutions.
  • Consider using a canopy over your bed if you can't eliminate all types of EMF in your home.
  • If possible, consider moving if you live under or near high-voltage power lines.
