Description

Humidity transmitter for maximum temperatures of 90°C for laboratory, air conditioning and drying technology, wood processing, food, animal feed, construction and paper industries, printers, agriculture, biotechnology and medicine.

In the manufacturing process, further processing, storage and transport, the exact determination of moisture and temperature becomes increasingly important. Only an accurate moisture monitoring can guarantee high product quality.

The LF-TD The transmitter series from Messtechnik Schaller in a robust and easy-to-install aluminum housing is ideal for this. A 125mm long robust sensor tube (Ø 12mm) made of stainless steel with a screwed-on sensor cap expands the possible uses of the LF-TD 90 temperature and humidity sensors. Various sensor caps (steel sinter, bronze sinter, plastic with or without filter paper and much more) are available as optional accessories.

By default, the humidity and temperature values ​​are output via an analog 4-20mA current output. Optionally, other interfaces such as RS232, Profinet, Modbus or USB can also be selected for the temperature and humidity transmitters.

The optionally available display showing the current moisture and temperature value is another add-on enlargening the application possibilities of the transmitter.

Two optional relay outputs enable direct control of, for example, alarms or ventilation. These switching outputs can be connected directly to the LF-TD 90 humidity sensors can be freely configured. (switching points, hysteresis)

Trouble-free connection to an existing system is guaranteed by the supplied 1,9 meter long connection cable including overmolded, robust sensor plug (sensor side). The second side of the cable is equipped with wire end ferrules for easy connection, e.g. in the control cabinet.

The capacitive humidity sensor used guarantees long-term, stable, accurate measurement results and is resistant to normal dirt and many chemicals. The sensors installed in the moisture sensors are also characterized by a very rapid adjustment behavior.

The excellent measuring accuracy of the LF-TD series is guaranteed by a factory-calibration at six humidity points. On request a calibration certificate can be provided.
