The AlphaFreshbox 200 WiFi is a high-performance ventilation solution perfect for single-family homes, offices, hotels, cafés, conference rooms, and other residential and commercial settings. It delivers efficient and straightforward ventilation without the need for complicated pipe routing, making it ideal for both new and older buildings.

Crafted from polymer-coated metal and featuring a sleek acrylic cover, the housing is designed for ease of maintenance with a simple filter replacement process and secure locking options. The AlphaFreshbox 200 WiFi is insulated with a 30mm synthetic foam rubber layer, ensuring both heat retention and soundproofing.

For installation, the system connects to the exterior via two 100 mm diameter ventilation pipes for supply and exhaust airflow. Additionally, a third connection spigot (included) can be used to link to exhaust systems, such as a bathroom vent. This makes the AlphaFreshbox 200 WiFi a highly adaptable and energy-efficient choice for modern ventilation needs.

How the AlphaFreshbox 200 WiFi Works

The AlphaFreshbox 200 WiFi is equipped with an individual room ventilation system that features a counterflow heat exchanger with an enthalpy membrane for optimized air management.

• In colder months, the outgoing air transfers both heat and humidity to the incoming air via the enthalpy membrane. This process reduces heat loss during ventilation by up to 96%, which helps save on heating costs. Additionally, a pre-heating coil prevents condensation from forming.

• In warmer months, the incoming supply air is cooled and dried by transferring heat and humidity to the exhaust air via the enthalpy membrane. This reduces the load on air conditioning systems, potentially eliminating the need for them altogether.

When the air purification function is activated, the supply and exhaust air dampers close, while the recirculation damper opens. The room air circulates through the filters and returns to the room purified.

Air Filtration System

The supply air is filtered by two air filters—G4 and F7 filters installed in series. These filters remove a wide range of particles, including insects, pollen, spores, tobacco smoke, and soot. Optionally, the F7 filter can be replaced with an H13 filter for enhanced filtration.

The exhaust air passes through a G4 filter, which cleans it of dust and other particulates before being expelled outside through the AlphaAir Freshbox 100 WiFi.

Replacement filters for both supply and exhaust air are available as accessories.

Radon Protection with the AlphaFreshbox 200 WiFi

When the radon concentration in living spaces is below 100 Bq/m³, the BMU recommends regular window ventilation to expel radon-contaminated air quickly. However, if the radon concentration rises above 300 Bq/m³, manual ventilation may no longer be enough to reduce the levels. In these cases, a technical solution like the AlphaFreshbox 200 WiFi is essential. Automated ventilation ensures continuous air exchange, effectively reducing radon concentrations over time.

Installation Example for Rooms Up to 200 m³

The AlphaFreshbox 200 WiFi is designed to efficiently ventilate rooms with a volume of up to 200 m³.

One or more AlphaFreshbox 200 WiFi units can be installed in each room where ventilation is needed.

Additionally, the system can be connected to a ventilation pipe for expelling air from a bathroom. An optional 100 mm diameter connector (included in the package) allows this connection to be easily added to the ventilation system.

MK-Freshbox 200 Assembly Kit for Ventilation System Installation

The MK-Freshbox 200 assembly kit is specifically designed to help prepare the installation site for the AlphaFreshbox 200 WiFi during the construction phase.

For installation in walls thicker than 500 mm, two extra Ø 125 mm ventilation pipes of the appropriate length will need to be sourced.

Included in the kit:

• Two Ø 100 mm plastic ventilation pipes, each 500 mm in length
• External ventilation bonnet (white)
• Cardboard mounting plate
