The main task of the GM 3100 is to measure methane, carbon dioxide, oxygen, hydrogen sulphide and carbon monoxide in f.e. Biogas plants.
The innovative device GM 3100 is the universal gas measurement device for leak detection and gas pipeline network inspections. With infrared measuring technology, the gas measurement instrument can determine natural gas and CO2 precisely without cross-sensitivity.
The GM 3100 can detect heavy gas, hydrogen sulphide, oxygen, carbon monoxide and methane, has an explosion protection approval and is equipped with an automatic measurement range selection. The GM 3100 also offers infrared measurement technology for measuring natural gas and carbon dioxide. This Gas Meter is not only a gas detection device, but can also measure gas concentrations.
Thanks to the menu navigation in connection with the automatic measurement range selection, the measuring system GM 3100 is easy and safe to use even for an inexperienced user. To get started, all you have to do is select a task in the main menu, for example gas detection, and the measuring device then automatically sets the sensor, measurement range, pump output and alarm message according to the defined program.
In this way the device is programmed to fit each of the varying tasks carried out by a gas network technicians daily. Schütz also offers multiple probe extensions to simplify these same gas network tasks. The results are displayed both digitally as well as graphically for the differing preferences of the gas network operators.
This rugged devices comes with intelligent sensors and easily replaceable batteries to ease the maintenance process.
